Latics swoop for keeper

Latics have signed goalkeeper Lee Grant from Derby County on loan to the end of the season. Recently on loan with Burnley, the 6'-4" player made 67 senior appearances in league and cup play for Derby. Grant is 23 and a former England Youth International who turned down an offer from Chelsea to join Derby. Grant goes straight into the squad for the visit of Port Vale on Saturday and will provide Chris Day with the competition which has been recently missing.
