19-year-old Rene Steer has been signed by Athletic on a 12-month contract. Steer has been on trial at Boundary Park over the last week.The full-back made one appearance last season for Arsenal but he was a regular in the Gunner's youth team. He made his debut in the friendly against Sunderland.
