Ronnie Moore has revealed that he is intereted in Jim Magilton of Ipswich. Magilton has won 49 caps for Northern Ireland and has amassed more than 650 appearances since his apprenticeship at Liverpool. He formerly played for Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday and his transfer fees total just under £3m.Moore spoke to Ipswich manager Joe Royle when he was at Boundary Park during the launch of their proposed £80m. stadium. He said, "I asked about the player, but everything is geared to getting one out before we can bring one in. I am keeping my finger on the pulse before the signing deadline later this month. At the moment we just have to sit tight and a lot will depend on how well we do in the league. If we can get a decent March are still in with a shout then I am sure one or two things will happen."
