Latics masters named

Athletic have assembled a star studded side to take place in the North West Masters competition at the Manchester Arena on July 26th. Unfortunately Denis Irwin has had to withdraw for personal reasons so there is still a place on the team up for grabs and the final place player will be named as soon as he is confirmed.
With Manchester United, Manchester City, Leeds United, Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers also playing in the competition it should be a football feast with some great players from the past showing off their talents.
The Latics Squad: Jon Hallworth, Darren Sheridan, Mike Milligan, Lee Duxbury, David Eyres, Tommy Wright (Captain), Tony Philliskirk, Rick Holden and Andy Ritchie.
