Late fitness tests needed

With just a day to go before the big kick off manager Ronnie Moore has included Will Haining and Paul Edwards in his squad but will have to wait for fitness tests before naming the team. Moore said, “We are a little bit thin on the ground for players, but that is part and parcel of football and we have to get on with life without those who are unavailable.” It is expected that Chris Porter and Paul Warne will start up front with Andy Liddell playing as a right winger.

Moore went on, “Yeovil were playing cat and mouse with Cheltenham (friendly game), and I still don’t know how it finished 1-1. Yeovil are a very good footballing side as they showed last season when they won 3-0 at Rotherham in the FA Cup. They won’t come to defend and play with seven or eight behind the ball. They will come to win and, if you allow them to get the ball down and pass it, they will hurt you. We must lift our tempo and make it difficult for them to settle.”
