Genséric Kusunga, who was dismissed in the 86th minute of the 1-0 win at Gillingham on Saturday, faces a three game lay off. He missed last night's 2-1 victory at Shrewsbury and manager Lee Johnson wasn't too pleased at the outcome.
Johnson said, “We probably won’t even be able to appeal it, even though everyone in the ground knows he wasn’t the catalyst for the incident. Their player scythed him down. Kusunga did a clever bit of play twice and their player has absolutely smashed him. Then he has gone for him as well, as he feels he is taking the mickey. For me, it is just football arrogance from Kusunga. If someone flips you over the hoarding like that, what are you going to do? I have asked the referee to have a look at it and no doubt he will, but I guarantee he won’t do us any favours.”
