Athletic have refused permission for Chris Killen to appear for International duty for New Zealand. KIllen has scored 12 goals in 17 games for his country and was wanted for friendly matches in Estonia and Poland. After consultation with the player it was decided that it would be in the best interests of both the player and club for him not to appear for his country.
