The Latics have signed goalkeeper Liam Jacob who was recently released by Manchester United.
The 17-year-old Aussie stopper has penned a one-year professional contract after impressing goalkeeping coach Paul Gerrard.
Jacob joins fellow Australians Alex Cisak and Dean Bouzanis, both goalkeepers, and James Wesolowski who are all at Boundary Park.
