Manager John Sheridan has praised his attitude and told Latics World, "JP has worked very hard in training since the lads came back and he's a credit to himself. He has one year remaining on his contract and I've made the situation clear to him. I don't hide behind things - I've told JP the way things are, and that means I'd listen to offers and if he got an opportunity to go somewhere else I wouldn't stand in his way. As a manager I have to make harsh decisions sometimes if I'm to bring other players in. JP knows where he stands and we'll deal with things as they arise."
