It was a very unhappy John Sheridan after the game who told the official website, "You can't afford to give teams two-goal starts, again, no matter who they are. I'm very disappointed. Up until the first goal we were never threatened and were taking the game to them, although we weren't playing that well. To be honest, the goals we are conceding at the moment are a bit of a joke. For some reason, and I've told them this in the dressing room, we're not playing with the confidence that we should be since we hit the top of the league."
"Now we've got to start winning games, otherwise we're going to find ourselves slipping down the table. I'm not going to cry about injuries and suspensions, although obviously they've affected us, as we've got players who should be able to come in and do a job. It's just not going for us at the moment, but now we need to stick together, work hard and get the result we need against Blackpool. However, if we are to win then we'll have to perform a lot better than we have in the last three games."
