Hunt for new manager continues

The hunt for Dowie’s successor goes on and two new names have been thrown into the possible candidates. The new hopefuls have not been involved with any of the first round of interviews. As the interviews continue, John Sheridan is helping to keep the team on track for survival and in the process is not doing his own chances of landing the job any harm. Including Sheridan, there are now a total of five possible contenders.
New owner Simon Corney said, “We are keeping our options open as it can’t do any harm at all to speak with different people. John Sheridan continues to do a great job and he’s very much one of the men we have in mind.”
