Defender Mark Hudson (pictured) has returned to Fulham after completing his second loan spell at Athletic. Hudson made 16 appearances and turned down the chance to stay until the end of the season. It leaves the Latics short of defensive cover and John Sheridan said, βIt would have been nice to keep Mark, but he is an ambitious lad who wants to play at a higher level. Bolton Wanderers have no objections to letting the Jamaican International stay on. Johnson has played a couple of times up front and has hit the net on two occasions out of six appearances.
Will Haining and John Eyre are both facing suspensions after being yellow carded against Hartlepool on Sunday. As a result Haining (5 bookings) will miss the home game with Sheffield Wednesday and Eyre (10 bookings) will miss the Sheffield Wednesday and Blackpool matches.
