Hudson loan extended

Mark Hudson, Athletic’s on loan defender from Fulham, has renewed his loan period for another month. Fulham believe that the player is gaining valuable experience in Iain Dowie’s team but they have inserted a 24 hour call back
clause in the contract in case of emergencies at the Premier League club. The Latics lost at Brentford on the day that Hudson made his rushed debut, but have since gone on to achieve an unbeated run of five games.
