Fulham defender Mark Hudson is back on Iain Dowie’s shopping list. After spending two months on loan at Boundary Park earlier in the season the talented 21 year old has still not made his way into the first team at Fulham. Hudson refused a long term offer from Athletic as he fancied his chances of stepping up but he could now be tempted back if Dowie can offer any guarantee of first team football at Boundary Park.
Injuries to Paul Murray and Darren Sheridan also mean that permission will be given to the manager to bring in a midfield player as Athletic currently only have 15 fit professionals including new keeper Kieran Westwood.
