Seb Hines has told of his delight at joining the Latics. When interviewed by Latics World he said, "I'm very pleased to be here and I'm looking forward to getting in some games with Oldham and hopefully helping us towards promotion. But it's not just about the match experience. I am here to try and get a winning mentality and playing in front of some big crowds will help me.""I like to get forward whenever I can as well as defend and I can play in a number of positions. But I'm not that fussed about where I play so long as I'm in the side! I played my first game for Middlesbrough at left back and then played right back in the next one, while I've also played a lot of games in central defence. I am naturally right-footed but can play on the left as well. Now I'm looking forward to getting started here at Oldham and I am happy to be here."
