Clint Hill (pictured) is poised to become the first of three signings by Athletic in the next week. Hill will arrive through the Bosman ruling though, as he is under 24 years of age, a transfer fee will first have to be agreed with Tranmere.Hill played for Rovers in their great Worthington Cup run and appeared in the 2000 final. Athletic are also hoping to sign a right sided midfield player and striker imminently although their identities are being kept under wraps for the time being.
