Latics goalkeeping coach John Hallworth has decided to leave the club due to having further business commitments. The former Latics stopper was employed at the club as the goalkeeping coach, overseeing keepers from the first team right through to the Centre of Excellence.The good news is that the Latics have found an immediate replacement in ex-Barnsley and England Under 21 International, Dave Watson. Watson sprung to prominence as Barnsley's goalkeeper when they reached the Premiership in 1997 but had to retire from playing due to a serious injury.
