Hall said, "I could not believe it when Mr. Hardy said, that after having discussed my position with the manager, the club were offering me a pro contract until 2008. Obviously I am delighted with the offer and hope I can continue to score goals and develop my game. I know there are one or two aspects of my game that I need to improve but hopefully with the right coaching I can do that".
Ronnie Moore added, "Chris has bags of potential, pace, power and of course he has shown he can score goals at reserve level. He needs to work on one or two things but we will be helping him along the way to try and make him into a first rate striker."
