Will Haining has joined Scottish Premier team St. Mirren, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, after rejecting the terms offered by Athletic. Will joined Athletic as a 16 year old and made his first team debut in December 2001 and has almost been an ever present ever since. The former team captain made a total of 180 appearances for the Latics, scoring 12 goals.
