Frankie Bunn has commented on the 3-0 away victory at Grimsby Town on Saturday. He said, “The result was fantastic, we got a clean sheet and to score that amount of goals away from home is a credit to the players, so I’m delighted with the win. I think first half was a bit frantic, we had to wait for the game to settle then our quality came through after sticking in there after a bombardment of long balls. At times we were slow to the second ball, so we regrouped at half time and we came out and gave a great second half the performance was terrific.”
“We just said we needed a bit more quality, get on the ball, play down the sides and that’s what we did in the second half. We had more quality on the ball, we got into better areas, had better opportunities and kept the back door shut, so pleased with the backline for the clean sheet as well and long may that continue. We're not going to single anybody out. I thought we weren’t quite there first half and he'll (Surridge) take the accolades for the goals obviously, but it was a great team performance second half. We’ve got a good squad, some of them have to be patient and we'll have a little bit of rotation there at times from picking up suspensions and injuries. We’ve got a good group and the most pleasing thing for me is the togetherness of them.”
