Recently injured defender Sean Gregan could be forced to make his Athletic comeback in a midfield role due the the large amount of crippling injuries that manager John Sheridan has to contend with. With Hull City's David Livermore back at his parent club and Gary McDonald still injured with a groin injury there is little option. JP Kalala is also out of action.
If Gregan appears at Swindon it will be his first senior appearance for over five months although the 34 year old has had four run outs with the reserves.
