Grave robbing begins

Latics defender Chris Armstrong has joined First Division Sheffield United for a derisory fee of £100,000. The signing means that another slab of rock taken has been taken from our foundations. It’s staggering that we've let Chris Armstrong go for £100,000 when you consider that we paid twice as much for him and he’s now 10 times the player then when he arrived.

There’s surely other ways to save the club. We would be better selling one major player like Fitz Hall than losing several others for much smaller, scandalous fees. Thanks for helping out your old team Mr. Warnock! We’ll always remember you. Oldham can't play with one man when we've sold the rest for peanuts to a flock of vultures, all waiting to pounce. This deal is understood to have been agreed at Board level and could go towards convincing Iain Dowie that he might be better leaving a sinking ship. Where do we go from here?
