Go Goodwins have agreed to a two-year partnership with the Latics. The deal includes the re-naming of the Jimmy Frizzell Rochdale Road Stand although Jimmy's name will still be on display. Go Goodwins will also provide transport for the first team to their away fixtures on their top of the range coach which was first used for the Forest Green fixture.
Wesley Goodwin of Go Goodwins said, “We are a family business and have been involved with a number of sporting clubs over the years as well as our long-term relationship with the ECB. We do not just want to provide Oldham with first team transport but to help develop a partnership that allows us to work with all sections of the Club and the community to allow more people to get to a game and support Latics. It’s initially a two year partnership but one we hope will flourish and develop into something much longer.”
The Head of Commercial at Boundary Park, Pat Cluskey, added, “Wes, Lee and Matthew at Go Goodwins have been a pleasure to work with in the build up to this agreement and the quality of the transport provided last weekend was second to none. The coach was more akin to an aircraft with all the facilities on board and both the management and players were appreciative of the comfort and style they travelled in which will be particular important on some of the long journeys we are faced with this season. It is also great to learn that Wes and his team want to get involved in other aspects of the Club and we will be working with them to facilitate that.”
