Dean Furman has extend his stay with the Latics for another year and manager Paul Dickov is delighted with the deal. Furman has made 111 appearances in his three years at the club and has scored seven goals.
Dickov commented, “Dean is a big part of what we are doing here. There was never any question of the club not taking up the option of another season. It is a big positive and hopefully will help when it comes to re-signing other players and bringing in new ones. Dean is a big influence, both on and off the pitch, and it is important we keep our best players if we are to progress as a club. The one thing about Dean is that he will give everything to the team whether he has played well or having an indifferent game.”
