Ronnie Moore is hoping to convince the Latics owners that he needs funds to bolster his rapidly depleting side. The latest addition to the injured list is Gareth Owen (pictured) who had to be stretchered off in the Oakwell defeat on Saturday. Owen needed eight stitches inserted into a gash just under his knee and also needs a scan to ensure that there is no tendon damage. Stefan Stam and Mark Bonner are also currently sidelined through injury and Moore would like to bring two loanees in before Sunday's visit of Brentford.
