Another Latics player has had his contract cancelled as manager Brian Talbot again shuffles the pack. This time it’s youngster Danny Forde who has had his contract at Athletic cancelled. Forde was signed by former Latics manager Iain Dowie in 2003 but never made it through to the first team. A local lad from Failsworth, Forde has joined Unibond Premier side Barrow on non-contract terms. Lee Turnbull the Barrow manager signed him up and put him straight into the FA Trophy tie squad at Altrincham which Barrow lost 1-0.
