The new League One season will kick off with a home game against Swansea City on August 11th. Promoted teams Hartlepool and Walsall will be early visits for the Latics in September and they will also take on relegated Southend at home in the same month.
The Christmas/New year period sees Athletic entertain Nottingham Forest and travelling the short distance to relegated Leeds United. Easter fixtures will have a visit from Millwall and a trip to Doncaster Rovers.
Athletic will conclude the season with a visit to Crewe Alexandra.
