Athletic have drawn the plum tie of the FA Cup first round as they have been given a home draw against Leeds United. Interest has been building since Sunday's draw and there is the possibility of another cash windfall if Sky Sports and ITV show the game live on TV. They now share all the rights to the competition after the collapse of Setanta. Last season the payout to teams in the first round ties was £75,000 but this years figures have yet to be disclosed.

Other notable ties include Southern League minnows Paulton Rovers who will be at home to Norwich City while Charlton travel to Northwich Victoria. Bristol Rovers and Southampton will face a League One clash as Stockport County entertain Tooting & Mitcham United or Eastbourne Borough. Neighbours Rochdale travel to Luton Town and Huddersfield Town take on Dagenham & Redbridge but Bury face the long trip to Aldershot. The ties will be played in two weeks time.
