Blyth, which is near Newcastle, play in the Unibond League and play their home games at Croft Park which holds 6,000 with seating for 300. Lesser known Chasetown are members of the Harvey World Travel Midland Football Alliance and play at Church Street which has a capacity of 2,000 with seating for 112. Chasetown is near Walsall in Staffordshire. Both teams are doing well in their respective leagues.
F.A. Cup Draw
Athletic will visit either Blyth Spartans or Chasetown FC in the first round of the FA Cup. The two teams fought out a 2-2 draw at Blyth last Saturday and the Latics will not know where they will have to travel until after the replay at Chasetown on Tuesday night.
