Eardley out for up to six weeks

Athletic's exciting 17 year old full back Neal Eardley will be out of first team action for up to six weeks after injuring his knee in training. Eardley has suffered a torn medial ligament which may require corrective surgery depending on a specialist's report. He twisted his right knee and was immediately taken for hospital scans.
It's a major blow for John Sheridan who has made Eardley an automatic choice when he puts the team sheet up. There's no doubt that the youngster has played a huge role in Athletic's eight match unbeaten run and he will be severely missed.
Kelvin Lomax is included in the squad to visit Yeovil tomorrow and is expected to take some part in the game.
