Striker Eoin Doyle has now re-signed on loan from Preston North End until the end of the season. However, his previous injury, a blood clot, will keep him out of action until March.
After spells in Ireland at Shellbourne, Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers he moved to Hibernian in 2011 and then on to Chesterfield in 2013 where he finished the club's top goalscorer in their promotion season. His next move was to Cardiff City and after just 16 games, Doyle joined Preston North End for the 2016/17 season. After a short spell on loan to Portsmouth he joined the Latics for his first loan period.
