Dowie signs keeper

Athletic have brought in a new goalkeeper to act as cover for David Miskelly due to the suspension of Les Pogliacami. Manchester City’s Brian Murphy, a 19 year old from Waterford in the Republic of Ireland, has signed a one month loan deal and will travel with the team to Cardiff for Friday night’s crunch clash.

Miskelly will play and Murphy will take a place on the bench. The young goalkeeper has been a regular for City's reserve side but has not made his senior debut although he has been on the City first team bench on a number of occasions.
