Latics boss John Sheridan has met with the board of directors to discuss plan for the 2016/17 season. He confessed that he needs to replace half of the team that he put out in the last league game if he hopes to achieve promotion next season.
Shez said, “One or two have said they are interested in staying and one or two are still under contract but it will be a new team. I feel as though I have got to change things. There are good things in what they have shown this season and I don’t want to say I will change every player. But I would say there are probably six or seven I would like to bring in, who I would like to be in my starting team for the first game of next season.”
