Defender Carl Piergianni has signed on loan from Salford City until the end of the season. He joined Salford in 2017 and won the Supporters’ Player of the Year award in his first season. He is 27 years old and began his career at Peterborough United. He has also played for Stockport County and Corby Town, with a three year stint at Boston United. With a knack for goals Piergianni has played over 100 times for Salford.

A solid defender, team player who puts his body on the line and is also a leader. His characteristics will fit in well to the culture we are trying to implement at the club and I'm sure he will play a big part in helping us climb up the table.”
