Darren Sheridan faces a six match ban

Darren Sheridan could face a six-match suspension after being sent off against Cambridge. It was Sheridan's fourth red card of a troubled season and Mick Wadsworth immediately punished him by leaving him out of the squad for the Huddersfield game. A club fine is also expected.

Sheridan has already missed nine matches through suspension and a non too happy Wadsworth said, β€œHe needs to sort himself out. He let down himself, his team, myself and the supporters – he has to be calmer. Darren says he didn't do anything intentionally. Nonetheless, his disciplinary record is unacceptable and I won't have it. I was comfortable bringing him back into the side, but he has to think more about his team and his profession. He is contracted to this football club and needs to see the error of his ways. His record won't be the same next year. It's a time for him to get his act together and show some humility because he's a talented player and he isn't showing it.”
