Carlo Corazzin has reported Athletic to the PFA on the issue of his unpaid wages. Corazzin was due one last salary before his contract expired but due to the frozen bank accounts he has not been paid. Before the team can resume operations all football-based creditors must be paid in full. Corazzin falls into this category as do the other released players, David Miskelly, Duncan Roberts and Wayne Gill.

Corazzin said, “I’m owed money for the month of June. The issue has gone to the Professional Footballers’ Association.” Corazzin had offers from Coventry City, Port Vale, Tranmere and Italian teams before signing for the Vancouver Whitecaps and he went on, “Our older boy (four-year-old CJ) will be going to school soon and we wanted to settle down permanently for that reason.” Corazzin makes his debut for the Whitecaps on 1st. July at home to the Portland Timbers.
