Latics striker Carlo Corazzin, crucial to Athletic’s surge up the table, has been playing for the Latics despite being in pain. He has had to take painkillers to allow him to play as he requires an operation to clear out debris on his knee.Corazzin chose to play on for Athletic during the continued absence of fellow striker Clyde Wijnhard.
