Colchester United preview

After 4 wins in a row, an unbeaten away record thus far and a team which is proving to be bang in form and that’s with main players to come back, the future looks very good.

Only one change to the squad sees the return of Dean Holden but so far, he will only become an alternative option as it would mean a change to the shape to accommodate him. As things are, that won’t happen.

Killen still remains a doubt, but that isn’t so much of a worry as Corazzin is complementing Wijhnard’s movement and game very well.

Layer Road isn’t often the best place for us to go to, but we are not entirely adverse to going there and getting something. A draw is usually the safest bet with this one, but I’m slightly tempted to suggest that we can sneak a win.

Verdict: Another very tough game, which will need a similar gritty determined performance like on Tuesday night. Another case of the first goal could be crucial in this one as I think we’d only get a point if we concede first, but win if we score first.

Predicted result: Another narrow Latics win.

Predicted Scoreline: 2-1 to the Latics.
