Cas deal dead

A bid of £150,000 to Notts County for Marcel Cas has been turned down. Alan Hardy said, “We have some money to spend on players to enhance our chances of promotion next season, but Iain Dowie has placed a valuation on the player that we will not exceed. We do not intend to pay over the odds for players in today's depressed transfer market”.


Athletic will now concentrate their efforts elsewhere.
