Carss next to leave?

If Athletic do survive the current crisis and kick off the new season, it’s anybodys guess who will be lining up in the team. With Wayne Andrews and Chris Armstrong already gone, Tony Carss (pictured) could be the next to leave.

Carss is now a free agent and has already held talks with Huddersfield and has previously refused offers from Colchester. Carss says he is still hoping to make a new deal with Athletic but as Huddersfield need an immediate answer Carss may decide to join the Tykes. With Fitz Hall’s dismissal imminent, David Eyres (several clubs) Chris Killen (Port Vale) and Clint Hill (Stoke) are all possible transfers out.
