Bristol Rovers hoping for fitness boost ahead of Oldham game
Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke will hope to have some of his absentees available again for the visit of Oldham.
Ollie Clarke, Rory Gaffney, Daniel Leadbitter and James Clarke all missed Friday's 3-1 loss to Gillingham, along with long-term injury victim Peter Hartley, but manager Clarke will be keeping his fingers crossed some of them will be available to return.
With the Gills loss all but ending Rovers' play-off hopes, Clarke has hinted he will look at different options for the final three games, and that could see Luke James restored to the starting line-up.
Defensive trio Joe Partington, Jonny Burn and Bob Harris will also be hoping to have a chance to impress after only limited opportunities since joining the club earlier this year.
Oldham boss John Sheridan will be without Michael Ngoo for the game.
Ngoo was sent off during their 1-0 win over Bolton and will serve a one-match suspension as a result, with Chris Taylor waiting in the wings to replace him after missing the match against his parent club.
Jamie Stott made his senior debut in that match and is likely to retain his place in the heart of the defence, while left-back Jamie Reckord remains out of favour.
Lee Croft and Ryan Flynn should keep their places on the bench, while Aaron Holloway is a doubt with an ankle knock.
