Guy Branston has been charged with abusive behaviour and has been reported to the FA. It is alleged that he made a rude gesture to the Scunthorpe fans when Athletic visited Glanford Park last month. Branston was reported by referee Phil Melin but he denies the alleged charge.The FA have given Branston until November 30th. for his official response. If found guilty he could be banned, fined or even both. Branston has not made an appearance since the incident but could come back into the running for Saturday’s visit to Yeovil.
