Bradford City manager Stuart McCall summed up his relief at leaving Boundary Park with the three points on Saturday.
He said, “On a difficult pitch, I thought we played some really good stuff. We would have been talking about a frustrating day if we hadn't got three points, but we knew it was a case of finding a way. It was a cruel blow to concede just before half-time. We knew the pitch was bumpy, but you don't expect the ball to bobble over the keeper. We came back strong and fought really well. We got ourselves in a lot of good positions and you could sense it was coming. Our set-pieces were different class and we've worked hard on them all week in training. Oldham are hard to play against, but it's a deserved and much-needed win.”
