Darren Kelly felt that his team lost three points on Saturday when Bradford City sprung a 2-1 victory at Boundary Park. He said, “To go down to 10 players is extremely difficult and means you have to adjust. But this was a lost three points for me. If you look at our homes games, we have got to be winning them and we have fantastic support at every game, home and away. It is difficult to swallow. The fact is we played the majority of the game with 10 players.”
“There were times we looked a good threat, when we played two at the back and relied on Mark Yeates and Joseph Mills to give us good energy going up and down. We looked like we could create something. But overall, what will stand out irrespective of that, is the result. And a home loss is a difficult pill to swallow.”
“We have to start games better and that is the case for a few now. Whether it is a mentality thing, I don't know. We need to be on the front foot from the first whistle. It is important now we go and reflect on what we want to do and what we want to achieve and I include myself at the top of that. Then we look to next week.”
