Former Latics favourite Ernie Cooksey is currently battling cancer. Cooksey is now playing for Gray's Athletic and has previously fought with the disease but it has returned. Cooksey is only 27 years old and is now undergoing another course of treatment to fight off the cancer again. Everyone at Oldham Athletic Mad wishes Ernie the best in his battle.
