Last Friday Latics continued the build up in Northern Ireland with a 2-1 win against Ballymena United. Will Haining and trialist Glen Robson scored the goals.

On Wednesday a Latics team (billed as the reserves) will play Ashton United away in a friendly game. In a fantastic gesture the Hurst Cross club have agreed to split the receipts 50/50 with the Latics.

The match kicks off at 7:45 p.m. and admission is £5 adults and £3 concessions. If you can get there to support this game then please do. You will be helping the club and also helping Ashton United and they deserve it following this news.

"I stress the next few days are critical," said Sean Jarvis at the end of last week. "The fans have been excellent. I would urge them to once again rally the community of Oldham before it is too late."

Do you what you can to help your club in its hour of need.
