Colusso made his debut in the Argentinian Premia Liga with Rosario Central when he was just 17, and he helped them win the South American Conmebol Cup and the Copa Necochea. He also won a World Cup Champions medal for the Under 20's side in Qatar.
He played in a special practice game so that the Boundary Park staff could take a good look at him. Colusso is the holder of an EC Passport so a work permit will not be required if Athletic decide to keep him longer.
