Appleby makes progress on his latest comeback

Matty Appleby is making progress on his latest comeback from long-term injury. Appleby has been plagued by hip problems since signing from Barnsley, and has failed with two other attempted comebacks. As a result the midfielder has played only three senior games in the last 19 months and it is thought by some that he will never make it back. Matty however, hopes be ready for the start of next season so it’s make or break as he only has one year left on his present contract.
