Matty Appleby has appeared before the F.A. Disciplinary Committee and their decision was to give him an additional one match ban to add to the original ban he has already served. Appleby was also fined £500 for misconduct for the use of foul and abusive language in the match at Blackpool. The ban takes place for Saturday's match at Swindon. A twist of fate means that the Latics captain would have missed the game anyway through injury.
