Lewis Alessandra has returned to full training with the senior squad after being sidelined for almost three months with a broken metatarsal. The striker is making excellent progress and has recovered sufficiently enough to take part in his first game of the season in tonights reserve team game.His pre-season performances were very impressive but his promising career luck ran out when he broke his foot in the 2-1 friendly win over Sheffield Wednesday at Boundary Park. Alessandra was offered a one year contract after last seasons successful youth team campaign which saw them go on to win an impressive league and cup double.
